Had front and rear end links replaced a couple of weeks ago. Also had the diff oil changed out in hopes of correcting the plate grinding when backing/turning..
The car can now sit for days and do not have the grinding, however the end link replacement did not get rid of the "clunk".. still have the clunk happening when drive slowly over any speed bumps or driveway entrance..
Thought there was one other TSB for the clunk, thinking it was the hub locks but the dealer said checked those before doing end links..
If you still have a clunk with the new (metal) end links, then the nuts were not torqued in properly. The hub noise is best heard when getting on/off the gas at slow speed. Use a open end wrench to hold the flats at the base of the end link thread and a socket on the nut and go up to 60 ft-lbs.
In my case the final noise was from the front end links even though I swore it came from the rear after installing the Z51 bars. The key was that an alignment shop checked everything in back and it was fine. When I got home i realized that the clunk came when turning into a driveway with the front wheels.

Good luck.
Had the same thing, the rear popping was heard driving at low speeds over small bumps or driveways. The front worn end links transmitted a popping sound to the back. Initially, GM replace the rear end links, popping resumed. Finally, the front end links were replace and no more popping. I recommend all four end links to be replaced to make sure the issue is resolved. Just my .02
I have a clunk sound when on and off the throttle at low speeds. Endlinks or hub? What is the hub clunk from.
Could be both although the end links will make noise over rough road. The axle clunk is on take off. The axle nut loosens up. Correct method is to replace the nut not just tighten it, per GM.

Hello,
It appears that you may have warranty left on your vehicle. I would suggest contacting you local dealership to have them take a look at it. Please let me know if I can assist you with this or if there is anything I can do.
