The person describing the accident has obviously NEVER done 150mph.
An East Texas friend said it best..."ain't no traffic at 150mph".
He also said..."there is only one cure for stupid".
I'd say the driver almost discovered it.
Lately, we have been having way too many crashes of Corvettes, what are these drivers thinking? It seems that they have NO RESPECT for the speed and control of these cars. Many have been from stupidity, no questions about it. Gosh, they are making us ALL look bad!
150MPH on a forever traffic clogged highway in SOCal????? yeah good luck with that
I drive that road many times. You might want to check it out. The speed limit is 60mph, four lanes not divided, and water right next to the road with no guard rail. It would be really easy to get carried away, many miles of straight and flat with only one traffic light. 150mph
What a moron. What is with all these stupid azz people crashing there vettes recently. Drinking, speeding, showing off, whatever the case may be. This is all There goes our insurance rates. Well I guess that is x amount of vettes left on the road... who knows.
It almost makes me want to gargle with listerine and tap the rear end of a Porsche Boxter at 5mph in my C6 just to see if someone writes an article titled "Drunken Corvette ZR1 Driver Careens Into Porsche 911 Turbo at 200 MPH"

...and you will even get a thread on this forum, with dozens of Corvette owners, who never went over the speed limit, calling you names.
I am not defending this guy, but everyone reads one article with zero facts and he is an idiot. Did you read the line that there was a diabetic kit in the car? Maybe he had a seizure and lost control of the car? I wouldn't rush to judgement until the police report is out and most of us won't see that.
Glad the other driver is going to be ok and same for the Vette driver and the final report will show was he drunk or diabetic shock before I would bash him and no way was he doing 150mph at impact
