I have the Z06 Wheels but I am sure you could do it with the 5 star wheels as well...but i just parked the car where i could get to the entire caliper and then put the bottom clip on and slid the cover through the wheel spoke and then put the top clip on and tightin everything down...then used a paper clip to check the clearence between the rotor and the clip...I covered the "imitate big brake setups with a thin piece of aluminum cover" with blue painters tape so I didnt scratch it while going through the spokes...I like the look of the covers i mean if that is the case with thinking covers are cheeze i guess you could take off the fake plastic fuel rail covers because they really dont do anything or even take off that fiber glass hood because all it does is cover up that motor and try to have that big motor look with that bump in the middle of the hood...I mean do we really have a 4 barrel dual line dubble pumper under there that we need that big bump?
I had a set on my last C6, they worked great, no problems no squeeks. So I got a set on my current vette. They keep the wheels cleaner, they cover the ugly calipers, they clean up easy and they look a lot better than the cheap painted calipers! Just my opinion, and many people love them when seen in person! So if you don't like them, don't buy them, if you think they are ricer, so be it...but I like them and they look very clean and nice!!! By the way, i have had them on two cars with no problems, one Z51 C6 and one F55 C6, so I guess, if you put them on right, they fit great and don't squeek!!
Yea your probley right I should have saved my money to buy a sweet looking billet grill...now thats really not Ricey or cheezy those are freakin sweet looking.....

I agree with you on the billet grill. However, the caliper covers aren't rice-tastic because of how they look (well, maybe a little, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder) but they are considered to be "rice" because of it's poseur status/implications.
