I've plenty of stains on my white 07 DD and I am always trying to make sure it is cleaned off. One day in hot sun and some severe bug splatter (love bugs for example) and you are toast. You can have your front fascia repainted, maybe even twice, for the price of a good clear bra plus installation. Don't worry so much and just drive it; clean it when you can.
This collection also includes a dead bird if you look carefully; the car was perfectly clean two hours earlier. Nebraska in August. Tech got nearly a bucket full of dead grasshoppers out of the radiator when we got home.
I just clean them off occasionally and keep on driving.
I've used the motel's ice bucket or waste basket as a wash bucket, and use their washcloths and hand towels.
I carry a small amount of car wash soap and if the carnage is minor, I'll just use detailer spray/etc.
Except I use Zaino. I have a clear bra - scrub on it too much and it WILL scratch. But, sure has saved the front of my car from dings. I spray detailer and let it soak a little before I spray again and wipe of the bug guts. You'll do fine.
I have had the traditional black bras on cars and I recently had installed the 3M clear bra on my 2005. I took a 900 mile road trip and for the most part washed the bugs off with the hose. I will always go this route in the future. I have a silver car and you can hardly detect the film.

I've left lovebugs on for up to 2 weeks and never had a problem. Then again, I use Rejex which was designed specifically to prevent chemical attack. The great shine is a side effect.
I am also in the anti-clear-bra camp. I'd rather than a few small paint chips. I still don't have any significant chips at 30K miles - just 2 tiny marks that look more like rubs. IMHO, that is better than the look of the seams of a clear bra.
I fresh coat of Rejex will make the bugs just slide off. I drive 1,900 miles several times a year and I've often used just a glass of water and the palm of my hand if more force than falling water is needed.
