Went to see Steve about 5:30 today. Says he's doing much better than he was yesterday. Said they got him up for a walk today, so his legs still work. As busted up as his car is, I'm glad to see he didn't look nearly as bad. No black eyes or fat lip, but plenty sore in the middle with the busted ribs and torn diaphragm. He's got a button to push for morph drip so he's staying as pain free and comfortable as he can with his "shaken not stirred" internals. Said he might go home Friday and wants to get back to work. He is alert and in good spirits and is overwhelmed by all the good wishes and concern from everyone. Didn't stay too long as there were plenty of others waiting to visit, so I'll say HI for him here to all that sent good wishes.
Never had the privilege to meet Steve but he's a Forum brother so my wishes for a fast recovery join all the others here.
Well said, I've never met Steve either, but I've learned a lot from him through the forums and really enjoy seeing pictures from his detail/bbq/beer parties. He's made some miracles happen on some paint jobs.
Get better soon "forum brother", I'm intrigued to see what your next vette will be, should be a lot of fun to follow the mods
Went to visit Steve today after work and got to see him run a BLISTERING lap around the nurses station! He's walking and looking a lot better today.
Looks like he'll be released Friday but at the rate he's going he may get to go home early. Keep up the good work buddy!!! //art
Doing much better, Still very shaken up about the whole accident and very upset about SICK HP. He did not want to see the pictures of what is left of his Vette untill he gets back home.

It hurts to look at them! It sure made him happy. Steve is a positive thinker though and we need to make sure he stays that way
