Steve, your wife is not even going to let you sit in the left seat of her car now! See if you can use the "dog chasing the deer" story.
I'll come up and see you tomorrow if they'll let me in there. I've busted a couple of ribs before myself, so I promise I won't make you laugh. Try & get comfortable and let your friends take care of stuff for you. Let the troops know what you need and we'll get it done.
I visited Steve today and let him know that everyone here is thinking and praying for him on his way to a full recovery. He is very appreciative of all the friendships he has here, and he should hopefully be responding to these threads as soon as he is able to. He said the first thing he wanted was his phone so he could communicate with everyone, but they won't let him have that until he gets to his own room. He is in pretty rough shape, but he is still our Steve
I saw him Sunday. He's in good spirits and looks to be as comfortable as he can be considering the situation. I know he can't wait to tell everyone THANKS for their support because that's just the kind of guy he is.
Steve - you have a lot of friends and I know I can speak for all of them to tell you that we're glad you're OK. Get well quickly and we'll get everything back to normal again. That "Red Robin" burger will get to you as soon as the Doc's give the OK buddy!!

Just found out today as I was out of town for the weekend. Going to see Steve today but already can't wait to have him back to 100%. I am sure we will all miss his car and our hearts will ache for him because he was so attached to it, but I would burn 100 of them to the ground to make sure we don't loose a great friend.
Nothing was wrong with his car. He was not wearing the harness just normal belt. He is very happy to be alive, and this is a life changing event for him i am sure. I love my pops, it hurts to see him in a vulnerable situation for the first time in my life. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has showed support and a special thanks to the gentlemen and lady who visited him today!
