I spoke with a father today and at the end of the conversation he said his son (about 12yrs ?) would like to take a look at my vette. I took him over and when I lifted the hood he asked what the hp was. I said 436 and at first he was shocked, then a big big grin said it all, he was hooked. Next time I will give him a (safe) ride just to make sure he is fully cooked . Reminds me of the 'banned' GM Corvette add.
That was cool what you did. When I had motorcycles, kids would always ask to sit on them or look at them. A lot of people would never go for that, but kids love that stuff. It is amazing how impressive they are.
Well, cooked in the sense not half baked - fully inspired if you will. Yes the advert with the kid dreaming about owning a vette, flying through the air, seeing a girl in a vette and performing some awesome manoeuvers. Some weenies saw that those boys dreams were 'dangerous'.
Good on you! I once had a whole bunch of kids in a car give me the thumbs-up and shout-over "cool car." I've had other kids come over and ask about the car. Kids may not know about horse power or performance but they know what they like and they like what they see in the C6. Out of the mouths of babes.......
