I like the look on certain color combinations, like white with the red stripes, other combos not so much.

I like them I think they look cool, and I am normally not a big fan of lots of "decor" on a car. I am even thinking of putting them on my Z06
Red strips on black car to match red calipers.
My buddy pfrank here on the forum put blue ones on his cyber grey base C6 and they really set the car off.

The stripes don't do much for me either way. I feel with the increased popularity of applied hash marks they lose their uniqueness as a way to distinguish the car...they're being overused. If you like them that's all that matters.

I don't hate them.
But I'd never put them on my car.
The only place that stripes look OK to me is on the hood.....and only if they follow the lines of the car.
The straight double racing stripes - like on the Viper or Mustang - look horrible on a Vette, IMO.
