Reverse Camera
I like to choose any camera that has two holes which makes it easier to secure the camera to the rear bumper of the Vette. The cameras designed to mount so the lense is pointed directly to the rear is the best choice. Some camers will mount to the surface with two screws and some will require a hole cut into the bumper for proper installation. I have included a pic from my install on my 02. Camera display was great.

Maybe it's me but my wife's new '12 Mercedes has the reverse cam and it takes a bit of getting used to especially for me (I run a Heavy-Haul trucking operation), so I'm conditioned to using mirrors for backing, both in a car or big truck. It works well, but only comes on when either the NAV or radio is on (the NAV screen), gives pretty good range of vision, and the cam is above the plate here too. I consider it a bit redundant though, because the park assist will sound an alarm when an obstruction is present, but when I ordered the car I wanted all the toys, so that's what I got. I realize the Vette is a bit harder to see out of (either by window or mirror) than a sedan is, but I don't think I'd order it as an option on a Vette, just my opinion.
On my set-up I have wired so the Nav screen switches set for 1. the NPP exhaust on or off and the other switch for the camera. It works pretty well and the Nav will remember the prior NPP setting when you start the car.
