Super Charge
My thoughts were that Callaway has stood behind their product, has beat (respectably) their product, and at over 60K miles on their 2010 GS, had no issues.
You can send your car off to Callaway for them to do the conversion. It looks like you have done a lot to it already from your avitar.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Callaway
We are peerless in Power, Drivability, and the ways we stand behind out product! NOBODY Comes close!!!

I know of no other who gives a Powertrain Warranty as standard
A 12/12 or 3/36 "engine" warranty is not the same as a Powertain Warranty which we give our customers, supplementing the GM 5/100 Powertrain Warranty which remains in place for the items not affected by our conversion
Callaway 5/100 Optl. Extended Powertrain Warranty is available. For more information on Callaway Cars or to schedule your test drive, visit your Authorized Regional Dealer, or our website @ www.Callawaycars.com

Monticello is a phenomenal facility and a great place to let your car loose!

Re: The factory warranty: There is a HUGE potential for your factory warranty to deny covering any issue on the car once you have added modifications to the engine, whatever they may be!

This is why choosing a company which has a record of standing behind their product has become more important than ever!

As I mentioned above, we are the only company which offers a powertrain warranty.
I have seen some "powertrain" warranties which have been made available over the past year by a third party company however, one needs to be especially careful with respect to limitations on coverage and lifetime payout
Apples to oranges, 99.9% of the time
In the end, looking over my company Callaway in the parking lot, he indicated he wished he had gone with his original plan - and gone Callaway
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Its sounds to me the original poster is better off just staying stock..
Whose going faster than 190 mph in bergen county anyway..

I live in bergen county too and my stock LS3 corvette is way fast enough for this area..
Zero to 60 in 4 seconds? Sure thats fun but thats about all you'll get without getting arrested.
If you want more speed? and want to spend around 7 or 8 grand..then go for the edlebrock supercharger down at ECS.
REally great guys who I've known for over a decade.
If you want the top of the line total package with the warranty and are willing to pay for it..then go with Callaway.
I imagine for enough money any tuner will offer a warranty...
If it were me and I sometimes think about a supercharger for my 08 c6 z51 manual driving around bergen county? No question I would go with ECS..
The cars really fast enough as it is...and I'm sort of hoping the new C7 is so kick @ss I just roll out of my present ride to the new model if I like it..
Otherwise..I'll just supercharge this C6 coupe and have a few laughs.. all for 7 or 8 grand installed.( give or take a grand or two)
I wouldn't go for the most hp blah..blah..blah but the 550 edelbrock kit with just one additional modification. I'd go for the aftermarket radiator as the cooling system that comes stock is a little overwhelmed with the supercharger kit on it..
No headers..no bap fuel issues etc...just an easy 500 REAR WHEEL HP or 550 at the flywheel..
Any thing more is really tough to get to hook up on the street anyway..
So thats my two cents.
Enjoy that beautiful corvette as is or modded.

Actually, Callaway cars can be brought to any Chevrolet Dealer for repairs, should the need arise. Sounds like you are pleased with your decision and there is no doubt, you should be! Thanks

I think the main thing that you need to look at is what are YOU comfortable with. I like the name brand "Callaway", I like the years and $$ spent in research that they have done, and I like (most of all) being able to take the car to any Chevy dealer.

Lotta STS haters out there tho.

Proof is in the pudding. I'm all over the 11's with the best being 11.1 and change. 3300ft. Depends on the temp and whether I'm hungover or not.
I love it when people try to tell me that MY Decision was not best for ME
Most kits will fit under the stock hood, but just be sure you know exactly what sort of performance increase you're looking for. If you just want a quicker D/D, as long as you keep the boost under 8 lbs or so,you should be OK with a stock motor, but if you want more, an engine upgrade is a real must, bottom end, fuel system, etc. I've seen guys build high-boost rockets that run like raped apes for a while, then one day they drop the hammer, hear a thud and pop the hood to see a couple rods poking through the block. Not trying to scare you, just saying do your homework before you decide anything.
