Default Tuning

Been hearing a lot about this especially with automatic transmission cars. Can anyone verify that their C6 05-07 runs better with a tune and who did it? Also I see Chuck Cow is apparantly a well known and respected tuner of the C6. Can anyone verify his work who has a tune done by him and how much better performance was realized?? Any problems and would you recommend him? As usual , I dont make a move without you guys input. Except for K&N filters and Borla Stingers, my 06 C6 is totally stock. Thanks guys.I appreciate the help.

Seriously?

You didn't find any threads with people saying their cars ran better or recommended him?

Any competent tuner will accomplish the same thing in the end result. You will get more power and a better shifting transmission.

Pick a good tuner and just jump on.

Chuck tuned my '06 auto about 2 years ago and I noticed an immediate difference. The shift points and performance on the auto tranny were much improved. I would absolutely have it done again. I'm thinking about buying the Autocal so I can have Chuck do updates over the internet.

Not very hard to find someone to tune a stock vette. I would say almost any tuner could do it. It gets tricky when tuning a very high HP vette, stock not so much.

I guarantee you.... If you make it here to Coral Springs by

SAT morning....The ride home will ABSOLUTELY take you less

time than it took to get here!

If not, there's always my EFI LIVE AutoCal....

I read a number of comments about his work from his site and some customers posts. Do you have anything constructive to offer or just looking to take exception to anything possible regardless of how trivial? If you know a good tuner please share it with me.

Sometimes (or even multiple times a day...) I even forget who I am!

I installed headers, VARARAM and a ported Throttle Body on my 06 MN6 Z51 Coupre. I tried to live with the mods without tuning for about a year. That was a NO GO! It ran absolutely pig rich, had poor fuel economy 24 MPG without a tune. When I took it to a dyno day at SLOWHAWLK Tuning to see how the mods made the car run, it had a lot of Knock Retard around 4000-5000 rpm and only made 360 RWHP. The WOT AFR was 11.1:1 Not what I expected.

Took it to Chuck for a tune and the difference was absolutely phenomenal. Much more power, no more black smoke under full throttle and my fuel economy went from a best of 26 mpg highway "STOCK" to 28-29 mpg highway after the mods and the tune. Better yet, the throttle response significantly improved! The 06 has never ran better.

Chuck offers an EFI Live AUTOCAL tune. Call him and discuss your options! You will NOT be sorry..

Chuck did my car two years ago and just did a re-tune today (with a big smile and at no charge). i'm telling you that it is a completely different car. i cannot speak for the M6 guys but my A6 is perfect now.

Chuck even tuned my Avey.

Chuck is a stand up guy. i could have anyone tune my car and have delt with others. FWIW.
