Sorry for being so ignorant, but aside from the front 3 bolts securing
thr front valance; what is the sequence to getting the darn thing "off"?
The outside 2 valance are a piece of cake, but for the life of me outside of removing the front bumper I don't see how to remove/replace it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

It's been so long since I have been up under there that I don't totally remember. I know you have the two outside nuts or bolts and it kinda wiggled up into position. I know all the fasteners are right there and none hidden. If it's loose when the outside fasteners are out then it's just a matter of wiggling it out. The center of the center section may have a fastener or two I just don't remember right now.

You will need to take the front fascia loose across the bottom. This will allow you to reach in at each corner and remove two plastic push pins at either end of the center section which hold it to the radiator support in addition to the three bolts that you can see. Once these are removed, grasp the piece and rotate it off the radiator support. I changed mine last summer and this is how I did it.
Thanks vetteright !! Removed all fasteners at bottom of bumper, and the 2 plastic push pins, then flexed the heck out of it and rotated it out. FYI - Put the center piece in first leving it loose, then the 2 end pieces also loose until you can get them all to line up. When I compared the original GM "cennter" piece to the aftermarket "center" I found the GM part to have a more pleasing look. The aftermarket piece has what appears to be large 2 circular swirl marks on the outward facing surface which I assume are either from filling the mold or to eject it from the mold. End pieces look same.

You're welcome; glad you got it. That's good information about the aftermarket product. I changed mine using the GM pieces from PartsTaxi before I saw anything about the aftermarket ones being available. I probably would have gone with the less expensive aftermarket pieces had I known about them - guess now I'll stick with the GM parts for next time.
