Love my Rejex. Used exclusively on my car since new and I love it. Make sure if your car is not new to prep the paint before using though. Remove all the old wax and remove all swirl marks and scratches. If you don't do this, the Rejex will just seal these imperfections beneath it and the results won't be as appealing.
Good luck!
That's not a very deep shine, just like you guys said. I can only see to the clouds. Is that without anything over the Rejax? Just bought some on line and had it shipped to my local True value for pick up.Kid at the store asked what it was.

All I've ever used over the 4 years on my vette and I've been very happy. With it's ease of application and removal, slick protection, and as good a shine (if not better than any other), it's a no brainer. Good enough for airplanes, good enough for me. Not expensive either.
Clean and claybar the car first. Apply Rejex per directions. Pay attention to the temp requirements. If you let it dry too long, you'll be finding white spots to buff off for a week.
Keep out of the elements overnite.
Then your car will feel slick as greased owl s**t. It'll be faster, too.
Good stuff.
We sell alot of Rejex to the Corvetteforum members and for good reason its great protection. That said, it doesnt actually contain any real polishing agents or cleaners. Its best used over a clean and properly prepped surface. You can consider a paint cleansing lotion or machine polishing. It does tend to look nice but not super glossy, but you can indeed top with a carnauba pure wax or detail spray like FinishKare 425 for extra good looks. Rejex is super durable and lasts months with only washing.
If you prefer a sealant (synthetic wax) with a little more in looks, consider a couple of other well regarded forum secrets. Wolfgang Deep Gloss , Menzerna Powerlock, DP Poli-coat, and Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection. Remember its more about whats in the bottle versus the name.
So putting a detail spray on after the Rejex will get you more of that glossy shine and won't hurt the effectiveness of Rejex protection?
Absolutley not..detail spray will not hurt Rejex at all.
Rejex is meant to stand up to all kinds of of abuse by weather, chemicals, bugs, road grime etc.. It;s even used on boats to help protect the outer surface.
What you don't want to do is put on a detail spray or any kind of wax underneath Rejex, as the Rejex will not bond with the paint and come off with the wax.
I use Pinnacle Carnuba and detail spray on top of my Rejex.
I've been satisfied. Live on a dirt road. Nothing eliminates the dust build up, but Rejex seems to collect less, so use it heavy on the rear end and behind the wheel wells.
Always apply before long road trips. Bugs come off much easier than other products.

Not at all. If you want to remove Rejex you will need a wheel and some compound. You won't wipe it off. I use detail spray inbetween washes and it looks just like I washed and waxed it. Give it a try. If you want to switch after no biggie.
One of the best aspects of Rejex is it's ability to seal the paint and easily repel bugs and other road grime. I have not waxed any of my Corvettes for years and years as they are always garage kept if not being driven. If you wax over Rejex you are going to have to remove that wax prior to applying more Rejex 6 months or so later. That is why I never use wax, besides, it is just not necessary if you use Rejex...and, by using a detail spray I rarely have to wash my VY. Of course, I live in San Diego where we have little weather issues.....
Hey, it works much the same here in Chicago on my DD Corvette which washes up much easier as long as it's had a Rejex treatment in the last 6 months. Recommended.

All paint sealants should be given proper curing time to be most effective. Rule of thumb is 8-24 hours. It essentially becomes rock hard and can be topped with numerous sprays and even pure waxes with no loss of durability, but remember its only really done for better or different looks. Durability is Rejexs offering so many choose just to use it alone. No wrong choice ....

2 coats of rejex, then go over with 1 or 2 coats of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Car Wax. Think that would work and look good?
Thanks
After using a paint sealant (Rejex) I would consider only 1 coat of a liquid or paste wax. Anything more is likely just wasted products. Liquid Souveran has no cleaners and polishes so nice results will come. You could also use Souveran Spray Wax after each wash to boost the look of Liquid Souveran weekly.
Just remember one thing, after topping any paint sealant with a wax, you will need to remove it once you are ready to apply more sealant (Rejex). Unfortunately sealants dont bond well to oils found in traditional waxes.
If you dont use a polisher and want to just prep the surface for more Rejex then consider a paint cleansing lotion like Pinnacles or P21S. You simply wipe on and buff off. They essentially clean and prep paint chemically removing all old wax and sealants and get paint ready for a new coating. Often times only need 1-2 times per year.

These pics I took after Rejex, and then Pinnacle Pure Carnuba on top. I was very very happy with the results. As mentioned above, no need for multiple coats of the Pinnacle, especially if you already have Rejex underneath.
This is what I will keep using from now on.
The lighting was not that good outside, so the pics don't do the "wet look" justice, but trust me the Pinnacle on top of Rejex really deepens the color.
