Just curious, anyone have experience with B&B Route 66 exhaust and automatic LS3? Same problem with the drone?

Put on the Fusions today. Drone on the interstate is too much so I will always be clicking it over to the mild side for that. No issues there. Love it.

I like the sound, don't know about on a long trip though. Maybe an insulation kit would take away some of the drone, at least enough so you can live with it.

My brother in law had Route 66. Didn't sound much different than stock IMO.

You never read the 50,000 posts on drone, especially with Bullets?

Yeah thanks for the input....Like others have mentioned everyone has a different level of what they find acceptable. Kind of like how loud they like to listen to music etc. Also, you can listen to sound clips all day but nothing compares to actually hearing it in person. Thanks.

Thanks.

I also like the look of the new PRT with satin finished tips, but if they sound stock as well then i guess there really wouldn't be any point in spending the money.

I think the best thing is some kind of dual mode system. I had the PRT about 4 yrs ago but the drone was stilll bad especially on long trips.

The PRT is my favorite out of all the B&B kits. I had them on my C5 wiht headers and they sounded awesome.

They do drone but not as bad as the Bullets, even though PRT = purge resonance technology

I just ordered a set for my Z since they just came out. I can assure you the PRT's do not sound that close to stock, they are worth it. The Rte66 I would agree do sound pretty close to stock, not worth the money IMO

thanks again for the responses guys.

FWIW i ran Borla Stingers on my C5 and liked them pretty well (A4). Dont remember if there was any drone or not, but the sound was nice and not what i would call "too loud" by any means.
