Default BB Bullets....

Just installed BB Bullets on my LS2. The sound outside the car is amazing. Inside, not so much, the drone is killing me. Will it ever get to the point where i wont notice it? Or do I have to change exhaust?

Looks like you will have a WTT post up shortly. In my opinion its only going to on your nerves more and more until you can't take it anymore. I had a Banks power kit on my Duramax but 875 lb/ft. torque isn't worth all that noise. The radio will work but so much for talking in the car.

just turn on the radio, you'll forget your exhaust is loud. (i'm not saying to blare the radio, i'm saying turn it on so there is another sound) thats what I do

I dont even notice it anymore

Is your car an automatic?
I just installed B&B bullets on my 07 vert which i purchased used from a fellow forum member in NJ. In the deal I got the PRT center section (which I did not install) and I believe that will settle the drone down quite a bit.....but you may have to send B&B a note to verify. I'll make you a deal...I'm not going to use it..My vert is a manual. Send me a PM if interested. Oh, by the way "I LOVE The way they sound!!!"

Put a sound deadening insulation kit underneath the rear compartment. It helps.

Yep, in about 6 months or a year your hearing will be shot and you won't be able to hear a thing. No problem, just give it time. Same affect as having boom boxes in your car.

I always love guys who have boom boxes in their cars. Hey, man turn it up, it sounds good! Those guys will all be deaf in a few years.

I put long tube headers, 3" cattless mid pipe and bullets on my wife's vert. We rarely turn the radio on just to listen to the exhaust. If its too loud, you're too old!!!

I'm 26 and there is no way I would drive my car with that exhaust. I love the noise for about 30 seconds. Then is annoying. I like to take our car on road trips and that would put a stop to that. To each his own though. Glad you are happy.

It is a fact that the Bullet is not for everyone.

The new PRT system may have been a better option for you. It has more volume on acceleration, but is quiet at cruise. The feedback we have received on the system has been outstanding, even with a paddle shift.

Please give myself or Mike Boat a call at the office if you want to discuss your options.

Should have got the BB Fusion setup with M2W remote. Problem solved when you need some quiet time.
