To the OP. The other driver was obviously OK with what he did. People pass on the right all the time to get around turning traffic. I don't know if he endangered you in any way or YOU just didn't like what he did and expressed it.

Maybe the both of you learned something from this...
I have learned. Thanks for the feedback. After 30 years on motorcycles, I learn to not put myself in bad situations with fellow motorists. I have gotten a blink of the high beams before, but never felt the need to slam on the brakes, and confront them, and tell them what I think of their choice of vehicle. But I degress...

Kept my cool, and told him to have a nice day, and he turned around cursing. Luckily I was 4 houses away. CLOWN! OK, done venting. Have a nice day.
Quite a few of those up here! Really have problems with my H2!!

Default rage plus gun =

Sure, pull a gun and even wave it around and you will find yourself in our famous legal system. Fines, jail time, court costs etc. Never have a piece on you if you aren't prepared to use it for self defense!

Today's people are arrogant when it comes to driving, like driving in the left hand lane and driving the speed limit or slower, No courtesy, then they are the ones in a hurry to pull out into traffic. talking on cell phones is another (AAGHHH!!!) I just dont understand the mentalilty of people.........Owning this car and riding my Harley, makes you a better driver and rider, I cannot count the times that someone pulls out in front of me without hesitation and look at you like your crazy.

Its hard to accept but after my career in the Army, and facing the enemy like I did, I just enjoy the moment, not everyone can enjoy a Vette and ride with the wind. Live to Ride, taking the high road pisses people off but when confronted, a quick application of a Ranger choke hold makes them appreciate breathing.

These type of situations I try and avoid conversation...having said that I understand all to well how difficult this can be.

A gun handy is not the cure all to minor civil venting.

I always fear escalation in these matters and having a weapon handy, while comforting, may not be the wisest discipline.
Agreed 1000%. Part of the responsibility is knowing when NOT to brandish....

All the political BS aside, I don't understand what the OP was pissed about. He was turning left, and someone went around on the right. Am I missing something???

100%

Over a worthless douche? It's not worth it. If that's the case then we can easily take out at least a few a day. He will meet someone one day that really has nothing to lose and end up on the front page for his mama to read. Happens all the time.

I myself would have laughed him off. By hitting him with the brights, you let him know it bothered you.

I had a guy behind me and I guess I just was going fast enough for his liking. He passes me and then gets in front of me and starts cleaning his windshield only it goes on for about 30 seconds. It shoots over the top of his car and I see the spots on my windshield. I told my wife he's pissed. Sure enough at the next exit he gives us the finger.

I just kept laughing. You gotta watch out you don't run accross some gun toting gang banger.

Next time, just let it go. He won't be the first nor the last.

As I said, part of the responsibility of carrying is knowing when NOT to brandish. This particular circumstance certainly would be a perfect example of when NOT to.

However, had it escalated, who knows....

I was out for a nice ride today, going towards a red left turn arrow and was cut off by some punk in a rusted Impala just to get in front of me,we both turned left at the green arrow then he proceeded to blow past me in the right lane only to cut me off again to make a left turn in front of me.

Just a thought on this.....What really fries my bacon is when the car ahead of me is slowing down to turn left and I am beginning to pass on the right, not fast, just a slow gradual right hand pass in a high traffic area where it is historically and generally accepted, to keep traffic flowing. The car ahead of me signals left, slows, and veers RIGHT in order to turn left. I will give a dirty look to the other drive on this one as I'm passing by. Did you veer right to turn left by any chance??

The only time you pull your gun is to kill someone.
