I don't think higher pricing was the issue. There's a Z07/Z06 and a GS convertible there. I think maybe there wasn't a dealer in the area that wanted to give up their ZR1 for the show. If GM is short on auto show cars, they ask local dealers for theirs. These cars take quite a bit of abuse.
Then add on outrageous almost comic things like convincing grown men that they need "hash marks" on their GS. This results in selling $3.00 worth of plastic tape for hundreds of dollars.
That is really quite funny. Thank goodness they don't offer them on a Z06 or there would be some that would want them.
GM has been releasing the Chevy Volt for 10 years now One would have thought they would have released it two years ago like they said, but instead they keep pushing it back.
they had one at the Ontario, CA auto show late last year...........that is about 40 miles east of Los Angeles where the BIG auto show is, have not been to that one lately.......
