Yer right Matt, they are actually rounded rectangles. Good call.

Looks like borla to me. Not sure of any other horizontal muffler set-up except them for the C6.

Yeah it says Borla underneath...just curious which model. Stinger? Whatever model - it sure sounds sweet.

Default Borla Exhaust

I have the Borla stinger exhaust on my 2007. It has the dual large oval tips. It's an option. I like it because it's different. To each their own.

Agreed. I like the 4 circular ones as well. Hard to go wrong IMHO.

Borla and Corsa exhausts are the best. Borla exhausts may be more susceptible to producing drone (in a certain RPM range) but I wouldn't necessarily anticipate a problem. Enjoy it!

The 11749 has identical tips but was discontinued sadly. It had over sized muffler cans and was designed for touring.

If the transverse muffler cans are small and round, it is the stinger. On the 11749 that I had on the '07, the touring mufflers are large and oval in shape.

Mikey:

If I have this correct - the transverse cans actually have "Borla" on them correct? In my case - the cans that say "Borla" are cylindrical......like a giant soup can laying down and not as big as your picture.....sounds like stinger?

All the older Borla systems had the cans in the transverse position. It is their newer ones that run front to back as do the OE muffler cans. Also, Borla has their name on everything except the pipes. Rumor has it that the Sr Borla did that so David wouldn't forget his last name when he was a small child ..................... Just kidding ...........

HAHA. I won't tell David you said that about him! Also, thanks for the kind words, Mikey!

As for that listing, that's exactly right--except for the fact that the 140133 tip styles aren't sold anymore. I'm going to fix that right now. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks,
Matt
