Got my Master Blaster about 3 years ago. I had used leaf blowers occasionally before but wasn't real happy with using them. I like the MB much better and I wish I had it years ago. It is the greatest value during the cooler months of the year. In the middle of summer, the car dries so fast it isn't that much help on the body, but even then it is still great for the wheels/brakes and nook and crannies. If mine ever wears out, I'll get another for sure.

I have one, love it and have posted here on the forum about it many times. Simply the best product on the market for drying anything!

Great for drying the car, great for drying the dog, the sidewalk, blowing out the garage, freeing clogged drains, blowing out gutters...it's a multipurpose tool and you won't regret spending the coin on it. MUCH better and more effective than a leaf blower.

Yes, I love mine. Was on the fence about getting one for a long time. Used microfiber, Water Sprite, leaf blower. All did an decent job. Two main benefits of using the MB over all these: 1) Air from MB with both motors running puts out much more force than most leaf blowers and leaf blower air is not heated. Using a leaf blower would get off the larger drops of water pooled from a nicely waxed surface but wasn't capable of completely drying the car. So, after using a leaf blower, I had to go over the paint with a microfiber towel to completely dry the car. Otherwise, slight waterspotting would occur. 2) Since the MB completely drys the car, nothing else has to touch the clearcoat/paint. This effectively reduces the amount of surface contact by 50% each time I wash my car. The less contact with the surface, the less surface scratching occurs which keeps the clearcoat/paint looking great longer.

Bottom line is I highly recommend the MB. It really makes cleaning a car alot easier.

My shop vac (reversed flow) does great, it even gets warm. I do the inside vac first then to the outside step. Once I start it all dries up right away.

I see most like the MB due to the heated air feature.
Here in AZ during the summer, if you heated the air further, the car would catch on fire.
No thanks....

The handheld one as opposed to the full sized one (because you don't have both, or you specifically choose the smaller?) Just curious as I plan on using this thing on my motorcycles too.

I only use the handheld one and it works great. I didn't want to spend the money on the big one.

We sell many Master Blasters and for years I exclaimed that I was happy with a leaf blower. Last year after using and demo'ing the unit at a car show I was hooked. While the warmer air might be a bit of a gimmic (its the heat off the motors which there are two with seperate turn on/off switches) its the force offered and the small dedicated nozzle which really helps to move every last bit of water. Its built extremely well and will last much longer than a yard tool.

Leaf Blower =
Master Blaster =

Dry the car in 10 minutes or less. No touching it. Blows the water out of every crevasse. Heated to dry much quicker. No hitting the car with the nozzle since it's right in your hand. Blows dirt and dust out of your engine bay easily. Works like a charm. Love it!

For those with the master blaster, can you use a 110v outlet or do you need a 220v source?

You can use 120V's but you need a 20A circuit.

Mine will run continuously for about 7-8 minutes on high before it trips a 15A breaker. Not all breakers are identical. YMMV.

It's a fairly easy DIY project to add a 20A outlet next to your electrical panel in your garage.
