I know the forum is filled with Corvette enthusiasts, and the amount of information on corvettes that is readily available on this site is enormous.
With that said, I dare open up this can, I often times see members post on threads claiming they can tell if a car is a 2LT or a 3LT, and so on just from looking at a picture. How can you tell what package a car has just from looking at it?
I know some of the obvious differences, for example the 2005 had the shark fin antenna and the ugly steering wheel and shifter. I'm guessing it's the smaller more specific stuff that I miss.
Lets see, 3lt and up almost always have the factory NAV, 4lt have the leather stiched seats, 2lt and up have the side air bags and pass side elec seat. Has to be more but I am drawing a blank.
I believe that the 1LT interior is only available in ebony, so if you see cars with other colors or two-tone, it has to be a 2LT or higher...
then what okie08vette said...

Heated seats only in 3LT or 4LT- you can tell by the switches on either side of the ashtray. HUD only in 3LT or better(not sure about the latest couple of years); the controls are on the left side of the dash- just blank without it.

3LT owner here without NAV.. just how I wanted it.. (I've always said my sales lady knows me too well, and they ordered it that way because they know if I dont have to get NAV, I won't). No, this wasn't a special order, it was on the floor when I went looking.
NAV should be an option only, not standard on any vehicle I think.. Why pay $2000 for a feature my phone does better.
