1) see that little button in front of the center console? Don't push it. Wait until you've taken a course on how to drive a rear-wheel drive high performance car.
2). Join your local Corvette club! It's a great source of help and info as well as a lot of fun.
You mean the button with the sharp turn signs and the car? What happens when I push it. I did and it said something about traction off? Do I want it off or on? I'll check the manual.
And also has anyone installed an aux port if they have a pre 08 c6? I saw some DIY for cheap on here.

The button turns the traction control off. Until you get experience with this car, leave it on. It could save your ***.
Ok I found the front license plate brackets and I get what permanent and removable mean but how is it permanent? I'm at the top flight site now. Thx
It's a crazy strong adhesive pad that attaches a mounting plate to the car. The mounting plate has two studs attached to it. The license plate then screws on to another mount which attaches to the permanent mounting plate with thumbscrews. It's there for driving around, but easily removable for the track, etc. Make sure you buy the license plate frame as well; it's expensive but looks great.
Thanks for all the input guys really appreciated and I already learned so much more just because of these posts and being guided in the right direction on what to look up.
Haha I'll make sure to leave that button alone than. It says not to install the front license plate mount in under 60 degree weather. That mean I'm stuck til it warms up in spring?
Hahah yea nice man same here I'm right in the fairfax area. How cool, but yeah I'm going to order it soon im just not sure why they want it to be over 60 degrees and if it needs to stay that way a while I don't want to put them on then its snowing and freezing a couple days later and ruin it. But oh yeah I will def be drivin the vette to work today!
