Why Do People Hate the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible 60th Anniversary Edition?

See now me (being a Z06 owner also) I tend to think imitation is flattery..I am proud of the fact they choose the LS7 to put in this special edition Vert.. it speaks to the 427 heritage in the 60 years of corvette history and think it's appropriate given the setting and timing of the C6 coming to an end.
Ehh, I don't think either the ZR1 or Z06 will be "forgotten" The Z06 is the fastest NA Corvette, and the ZR1 is the fastest (only supercharged) Corvette period.
The Z06 was the top of the line flagship for Corvette from 2001 C5Z up until the ZR1 came out in 2009. They are both iconic. The ZR1 currently carries the Torch as the leader thats all.
I do not think with the C7 though we will again see both the Z06 and ZR1 in the same Gen..it will be one or the other.

This new model is good for the vette lineup. One year only, offering something distinct from the others. Will be a hit.
