I took the rear Gumbys off today so I could install my splash guards. Of course while I had them off I cleaned all of the rear wheel well area, suspension, etc, call me crazy, cleaned and polished the Gumbys.
My question is, should the wheels have any GM casting marks? I dont see any. These are on a 2011 purchased new and I know they were not an option for 2011. Aftermarket? The reason I even ask is because the chrome on the backside of the rims look very thin and fragile. Looks like I am really going to have to stay on top of these things to keep them from deteriorating fast.
Thanks Rick. Thats what I thought. Now I may have to find me some new wheels. I did not really want the chrome wheels when I purchased the car but they were already on it.
