sure isn't. Sad truth, I'm afraid. If someone wants to mess with your car, steal something from your car, or heck, just steal the whole car, chances are they'll get away with it, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop them. That's why we have insurance I suppose, but still...

I'd sure rather have a broken window than lose my wheels and tires. If you keep your "key" inside the glove box you're not very smart. These cars are very hard to steal unless you can drag in onto a flatbed.

Sorry to hear that. Did your car get messed up when they jacked it up?
When you get your new one etch your name on the inside of the rims some where just incase you every runs accross them in a situation like this.
It came in handy for a friend who got his rims stoling and that was his only proof.

I've been on this forum since 2005 and every person that had their wheels stolen and posted here DIDN'T have wheel locks. But I'm sure someone will quickly say that they know someone who heard from someone that someone had their wheels stolen even with locks. Again, $40 well spent.
It suck that it happened and not his fault. But I would not skimp over $40 locks. Now I have heard of someone not having locks and getting their wheels stolen, filing a claim so they can get better wheels.
