Corvette vs Porsche
Not your usual kill story, but still very satisfying.

Several weeks ago we were in Bonita Springs, FL; and our C6 got filthy from sprinkler water. So I went to a self service car wash where all four bays were empty, pulled into one and started using the wand and my cotton wash cloths.
As I was washing, other cars arrived and soon all bays were full. About that time a silver Porsche with Ontario plates pulled into the lot behind my bay and sat waiting for something to open up. After a couple of minutes, not long at all; he pulled up just 3 feet behind my bumper, turned on his headlights, and started gunning his engine. As if this would magically make me pull out for him.
What to do???
Reflections on his windshield made it impossible to see the driver, and his windows were up so an "accidental" bath wouldn't work.
What to do???

Well, I gave my car the most thorough washing of its life. While I was doing this, other bays opened up but porsche man couldn't back up quickly enough to prevent other, later, cars from using them first.
After my wash, I got out the chamois and meticulously dried every drop of water from my car, then carefully put away my gear and cleaned up the wash bay.
Just before I finished, porsche man finally gave up and moved over behind another bay. And I think he actually got into it before I left.
Good for him.

What a ***** at least he could have got out and said he was just messing with a fellow performance enthusiast in good fun. Instead it sounds like he sat there stewing.

even i, as a porsche owner,...have to TOTALLY agree that was "toolish" behavior on that tool's part,...unfortunatly,..there are creeps in every marque,..and believe me,...we've met our share of obnoxious, stuck up s.o.b.'s in porsches,..such as the time i waved at a lovely lady in another 911,[mine was even the "better" 911,...hers wasn't a turbo!],..and she sniffed and rolled her eyes,..like i was the scum of the earth,...well,..i am!,..but i DON'T like to be reminded of it!...

Lots of tools in the world. Just have to take 'em in stride.

something similar happened to me this morning while driving/crusing down PCH in the malibu area. I had this brand new mercedes cl AMG pulling up right next to me, he is revving his engine, i dont pay attention, im enjoying my drive, so he steps on the gas and cuts me off. He continues to drive and he is zig zagging, a couple of lights ahead, he gets behind slow traffic and he is not able to change lanes, so i made a quick lane changed and he is behind me. He starts to tailgate and gets really close to me as i see that i let go of the gas and start to slow down. He is not able to change lanes because there is a lot of traffic to this right.
So two of the fastest cars at the moment were the slowest ones, i probably went down to 30 mph on a 50 mph.
He was very upset, so that happens to cutting me off

[QUOTE=sportcruiser;1580686292]He probably didn't know how to get it into reverse... All the revving was failed attempts!
Not saying they're all like that, but most of the folks I know (or have known) that have Porsche's drive them as status trophies and have no idea of the car's true capabilities.

That is an Ontario thing..
Rev your engine to let the other guy know you are into high performance too.
Put headlights on so the washer doesn't miss any spots.
Get as close as possible so to protect the vette from water and debris from other bays.
You should have said "THANKS EH" ..........Ed from Ontario

You could have turned on the wax spray and "missed" your car and covered his.
Even if I had enough quarters I would have let it run down to zero time and gone and got more just to **** him off and then when he got out slap him around and call him Susan.
