Stopped Using NPP Switch
Should have just pulled the fuse. Purchased my first Corvette last September and quickly installed the NPP switch. I'd turn it on and off throughout the week. There were some days when i didn't like the loud drone. However, after a few months, I became POSSESSED by the sound of it and now leave it open 24/7. Anyone else?

I shut the valves when cruising on the interstate. Otherwise they are open all the time.

I keep them open most of the time. Only close them on long freeway drives.

Left mine open for most of the year, but it got to be a little too much drone for me on the interstate that I was having to drive nearly every weekend.
So I finally installed the Mild to Wild switch I'd bought months ago. Only turn it off when I'm on the interstate. That's about 3 hours a week. Stays open the rest of the time.

I close mine when pulling into my neighborhood at night. I've always had a history of loud cars so I TRY to be courteous nowadays.
Once the headers went on, that became a NECESSITY. longtubes + open NPP =
Definitely good to cut the highway drone too. I'd say mine is open about 85% of the time.

If the roofs on and/or windows are up I keep it closed because of drone.
If top is off it stays open.
But I also have the collars holding the flaps open 1/4" so even closed, it's not quiet but it doesn't drone at all like it does fully open

If I get or make a phone call I just unbuckle my seat belt, put down my beer, steer wth my knees, open console with my elbow, sort through all the crap with my right hand till I find the fuse, lean all the way over to the passenger foot well, pull the rug down and plug away till I fell it snap into an open receptical.Usually the wrong one so it takes 4 or 5 tries. No big deal.Be safe out there bros!!!!

When I had my Z06, I got rid of mine after the novelty wore off and it wore off quick. Pulled the fuse and left it out.
