I painted houses during college.....$900 might cover the cost of the materials for a decent sized house. Think about all of the sanding, caulking, fixing of woor, window trim.....etc Then the primer and paint.
I located an excellent contractor through my local Corvette club. He's a C5 owner, and loves talking about Vettes. He gives me excellent service and follow-up work. I will use him on some other large projects in the future.

Thats right. There are three types of job... Good, fast and cheap. A good, fast job isn't cheap. A fast, cheap job isn't good. And a good, cheap job isn't fast. Kudos to the OP for getting six prices, though. Most homeowners get one, maybe two quotes, and pay whatever it is.
