2012 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design. It's all wheel drive, has a 325 hp turbocharged inline 6, and goes great in the snow with a full set of dedicated winter tires.

Well, Volvo purists would argue that's it's not a true "R", but an "R-Design." It has some exterior changes plus a small spoiler, an upgraded suspension, more turbo boost, and enhanced seats. It does not have bigger brakes, which it has been roundly criticized for, nor does it have real instrumentation ... just idiot lights. For me, it's turned out to be a fun car to drive, very well built, and completely reliable.

Cool. Sounds like a good choice. And like they have at least done more than most companies do when they slap an extra little badge on. My first car was a 960 Wagon. I have thought about picking up the old S60R as a daily.

If it's raining or threatening to do so, my Prius. If not my yellow C5 convertible or my red C6 convertible and a warm coat. I keep the tops down all year. There are some advantages to living in the south.

Winter cars are the same as the summer cars. C6 and BMW.

Awesome cars! I got the ol lady a black 12 T5 that I love.. Wanted a T6 but bought it mid-'11 and the dealership couldn'd find the color/interior combo we wanted in a T6 at the time.. It actually does great in the snow..

My line-up of junk.. The Denali serves rainy day/winter duty.
