I have been folding mine in everyday for years and not problems yet, I wish they electric but I understand the cost and weight factors so understand why they are manual.
My mirrors were folded prior to my taking delivery. The dealer's showroom door was narrow, they let me drive my car from the showroom floor, but not before folding the mirrors. My dealer delivery was neat.
