Neither my roommate or myself want to hit each others Vettes when we open the doors so I flip my mirror down and pull in as close to the right as I can and she pulls in as close to the left as she can.

Folding mirrors help a lot when washing the car. Helps them drain. I tie a towel around the base so it doesn't run down the side of the car.

I have been folding mine in everyday for years and not problems yet, I wish they electric but I understand the cost and weight factors so understand why they are manual.

My mirrors were folded prior to my taking delivery. The dealer's showroom door was narrow, they let me drive my car from the showroom floor, but not before folding the mirrors. My dealer delivery was neat.

Only here can a thread get posted that only requires a one word post to answer the OP, and it gets to two pages.... Has anyone referenced the manual yet or possible voiding of your mirror warranty. This place is pathetic.
