The only place a Z06 is better is in a straight line.

OK - I am a ZO6 guy and I put that info out there right up front. Usually I don't get into these 'GS Z51's are the same as ZO6's debates' - or in this case the claim that the GS Z51 produces faster lap times than the ZO6. But that silly mis-truth even gets to me sometimes.
Razor gave us the Ring lap times comparison of the 2 cars - and he concludes with saying '5 seconds on the track seems like an eternity - imagine what 37 seconds feels like' - which is the lap time difference between the 2 cars.
To better demonstrate the point about the difference in track capabilities, using the 12.8 mile Ring as the level playing field, the math and the reality works out like this: As the ZO6 is completing it's lap in 7:22, at that exact moment the GS Z51 will still be 1 full mile from completing it's lap - perhaps that's a visual that more clearly identifies the track performance difference, as demonstrated at the Ring.
And no, this is in no way a GS Z51 bash - I respect every model - each has it's own design purposes and performance windows.

Mine even has a rear window defroster. Is there a club for that?
I got the 6 cylinder version too.
Anybody know where I can buy some Ferrari badges??? Cheap.

Wow, lots of insecure folks on here. No one cares what you own or mod except you....as it should be. You want to start a club or make some stickers, good for you, shows your proud of what you own.
Keep in mind 90% of the folks with negative comments are just really having a little sarcastic fun. Instead try to see the comments as a "Ribbing" vs being bullied.
Badge-No badge it's your car...... do what you want and have fun, that's what Corvette ownership is all about

Does anyone know if there is a V73 group? My C6 has it and I would like to join in with others that have a V73 C6. I sure hope they have some stickers and badges I can put on my car to let everyone know that I have a V73.
