Does anything like that exist. I found one company that offered parade insurance for driving to a parade etc but they were so particular, she said I could not even stop at the grocery store on the way home or it might not be covered.

Thanks, Jason
Jason,

Check out our website at www.ncminsurance.com. We offer Collector Car Insurance for all year collector cars. We can insure both the Chevelle and the Corvette and save you a ton of money!

We are working an event this weekend, but check out www.ncminsurance.com for a quote.

Luckily he said he doesn't use it like that!

I'm 31, I have one speeding ticket on record, my wife has one speeding ticket and 2 accidents in the last year, and our insurance was going to be $2100 through Progressive...called up NCM and with a 3000 mile allowance (only drive about 1000 anyway), they did $670. Yeah...69% savings. Furthermore, if I didn't have to insure my wife since we were married, it would have only been $430.

The only real catch with them is that every person that is of driving age in your household has to have their own vehicle. The vehicle you insure them cannot be your daily driver therefore they have to assume that each person has another vehicle. Shouldnt issue with most people here, however it is something they require and they even needed proof before they will offer the policy. We had to email our declarations page from Progressive showing our other two vehicles.

Still...CANT BE BEAT.
Thank you!!

These threads are very misleading. Insurance quotes are based on vehicle, age, history, zip code, etc.

No one here is listing coverages, limits, deductibles, etc.

My 427 is $1200 a year for 100/300/100 and my deductibles are $250 all around. I am 46, have no tickets, and drive less than 7500 miles per year through State Farm.

I realize that I may pay more, but I can also walk into my agents office anytime I need him. $100 a month seems pretty cheap to replace a $93K sticker car.

Edit: So, I checked out NCM and for the same coverages I currently have it would be $842. I think I will be giving Adam a call!

Default Happy with Heacock

I have my vette insured with Heacock Classic Ins. Full coverage, no deductable, 3000 mile limit, 100/300 limits on a 2008 for $560/yr. But I only use the vette for weekend club events & local pleasure drives , so it work for me.

The only problem with most of these larger insurers is they do not like a car being tracked. Even if you get third party insurance for the track they still don't like it. I inquired with many companies and they said "No way." I found American Modern Home Insurance Group which doesn't mind my tracking the car, gave me cheaper insurance all around, parts insurance, towing, and all kinds of bells and whistles and perks. And cheaper than anybody else. They are a classic and specialty insurer.

Dont bother with Hagerty... I had them for years with my classic and they were very reasonable. When I got the Vette they said sorry.....its too new and would not insure it.

Hagerty insured my heavily modded 05 but I dropped them due to driving restrictions.

We wouldn't put the name or reputation of the National Corvette Museum or myself on the line. Claim service is great!

No problem with tracking a car with us. Coverage is off when your tires hit the pits and while on track. Coverage is on in the paddock.

My wife has a lead foot... Lucky for me she cannot reach the peddles on my C7 or my C3.
