Hi, new to Corvette ownership.

Thanks again.
Put in a K&N over the weekend, strange stock filter. In the mustang world we use the term "wake the car up" but in this case how do you wake up an LS3 lol. The k&n filter really did open it up a lot. Keeping everything else stock...I promise lol

My old Mach 1 is dark shadow gray. When we parked the corvette next to it they were identical in color lol.
So I got to keep a little bit of my old Mach 1 with me, still love that car definitely going to own another Mach again 1 day.

Welcome to the forum! Quite a few veterans on the forum, myself included. A great group of people on here but I will admit it can on occasion, get pretty spirited. A vast amount of knowledge is at your fingertips. B.t.w., I have 3 stangs myself, 89 vert LS, 2007 and lastly my sons 91 fox body beast. Wouldn't trade any of them for my C6. No better place to learn about the car than here. Also, good luck with stopping at a K and N filter. Let me know how that works out for you. Congrats on retirement as well.

I was an aerospace ground equipment craftsman. I was retired only after 10 years of service at the age of 30. It's never what I intended...I guess nobody ever intends on being disabled on a massive scale at the age of 27 but at least I was doing what I loved and had the privilege to fight and serve with some of the best people I've ever known.
I know I'm very blessed to be able to be debt free and retired at my age but I would happily give it up for my spinal cord damage to be healed and my career back.
I get to live through my wife though who works in the education system. She has been my spine when I literally had none.
You all have been so kind, thank you, God bless and good health.

Congrats on the new vette and on retirement. Retirement means every day is a Saturday, so no excuse not to drive that honey and enjoy it.

Finding out slowly that there are an incredible amount of people who dislike Corvettes and judge you based on the fact you own one :/
I've seen an orange corvette in the Clemson road area in Columbia SC with cameras attached on the outside, anybody here own that car?
