Seems to me, there are just too many threads asking too many questions about the "Corvette Wave."
Let's use this thread to put an end to all the confusion. I propose we all put our heads together to establish "Wave Rules". Every one could simply print them out, for easy reference.
I'll start it off, and you folks can add to, or subtract from, the list, until it's considered complete.
Corvette Wave Rules
1) C6 Owners, do not wave to C5 owners, who do not wave to C4 owners, etc.
2) ZR1 owners, do not wave to ZO6 owners.
3) ZO6 owners, do not wave to Grand Sport Owners.
4) No one waves to Base Coupes, with less than a 4LT package.
5) Convertibles, no matter what the model, wave to everyone if their car contains an attractive woman.
6) Convertibles with a single driver are considered Gay, and should only be waved too by other Corvette drivers of the same sex.
7) Engine configurations are not wave applicable.
8) If you can accuratley guess how long it will be before the next "Wave" thread is started, you will win a free wave, even if you own a 1LT Base Coupe.
I hope that's all very clear now.
Once again Sir, I am humbled by your input and wisdom....
If the corvette has a giant "corvette" sticker on the windshield or rear window, do not wave. If you see the owner, always ask them if it is a mustang. Especially if you pull up next to them in your Corvette. P
I propose we start a middle finger wave to all of the above so that no one feels left out! Bat Pig out.
Hell, if you're gonna start flipping off all other drivers, then you have to start yelling and cussing at pedestrians too. And of course, for any snobs or snob wannabes in ritzy flashy euro cars, well, you'll have to flip off AND cuss as you blow by them in traffic...
Why not just say we all act like a bunch of NYC drivers? Can you imagine...cabbies in Vettes??
Have you ever noticed that 'Soccer Moms' driving SUVs never wave at all....
Yes, that's true.
I've also noticed that married women don't wave, single women don't wave, attractive women don't wave, sexy women don't wave, classy looking, well dressed women don't wave, older women don't wave, younger women don't wave.
In fact, I've never had a woman return a wave....could it be me?
This thread was designed to establish rules. A set of instructions if you will, to guide folks in the art of Corvette waving. A serious and solemn undertaking.
Some how, it's turned into a series of endless jokes. This is why there are so many threads about the Corvette wave. No one gets it right, because there is no decorum, no civility. We recognize each other via random, and chaotic acts of waving.
This has got to stop! Please, everyone, see to it, that your posts are as serious as my own....thank you.
