Seems to me, there are just too many threads asking too many questions about the "Corvette Wave."
Let's use this thread to put an end to all the confusion. I propose we all put our heads together to establish "Wave Rules". Every one could simply print them out, for easy reference.
I'll start it off, and you folks can add to, or subtract from, the list, until it's considered complete.
Corvette Wave Rules
1) C6 Owners, do not wave to C5 owners, who do not wave to C4 owners, etc.
2) ZR1 owners, do not wave to ZO6 owners.
3) ZO6 owners, do not wave to Grand Sport Owners.
4) No one waves to Base Coupes, with less than a 4LT package.
5) Convertibles, no matter what the model, wave to everyone if their car contains an attractive woman.
6) Convertibles with a single driver are considered Gay, and should only be waved too by other Corvette drivers of the same sex.
7) Engine configurations are not wave applicable.
8) If you can accuratley guess how long it will be before the next "Wave" thread is started, you will win a free wave, even if you own a 1LT Base Coupe.
I hope that's all very clear now.

Should these rules be cross-referenced or in some way be used to append the offical Harley riders wave rules? I think they even have rules on hand position and digit useage. I'm always breaking that one.

And let's not forget the color rule.. For each model year more popular colors wave to less popular colors, but not the other way around. So for 13 black waves to everyone while supersonic blue waves to no one...lol... And this rule gets me off the hook so I don't have to try to remember all these rules..

10.6% of 2012 C6's are white. Anybody that chooses the most popular color in history for kitchen appliances for their Vette isn't allowed to wave to, or be waved to by, anyone in any kind of car.

I think it was established earlier, that Machine Silver can wave to, or be waved by, any other iteration of Silver, at any time except Thursdays, between Noon and 6 pm.
The only exception to that would be a vert, with an attractive woman, who of course could wave at any time.
