A Corvette is just a Chevy and the dealers treat me as such.

Coulson T, I can understand throwing in the towel.

My '08 had more than the expected number of problems which cost a lot to fix. I reached my limit of patience with it and sold it.

Now I have a new '13 GS, but the repairs and problems continue

Man come to think of it, I don't know if my defroster works...never driven it at a time where I needed it.

As far as bottoming out, I've scraped the bottom plastic piece more times than I count; but actually bottoming out, can't say I have. And I've been on some of the most pothole ridden areas and steepest culdesac curbs from here to Detroit.

Hope you enjoy the Camaro though, had one and they are very nice cars. I just couldn't part with the targa top.

Guess you'd rather have a camaro than a Vette. Whatever floats your boat.

At least he didn't get a mustang

There are a ton of parts for the Camaro as well. I actually loved the ZL1 we had for a while

If you wanted a Camaro why didn't you buy a C7?

I'm kidding. I read through this thread and couldn't believe no one has said it yet.

The C7 is a badazz ride! The Camaro is just a cool ride.

The best thing the Camaro has is the tail lights look like the C7.

Well two months with the Camaro, less head room than a vette,,,, sold it and ordered a C7...should be here in August...sound mental to you. Just need speed, sports cars and damn the issues..made a mistake and drove a C7 at the track and there is nothing like the new Vette..burned the last straw....life's too short not to enjoy..

I'm glad you are rejoining the Corvette community and sorry to hear you had problems with your C6. I waited so long from my 2nd Corvette to get my C6 that it would take a lot for me to part with it. I might part with it for a Z06 or ZR1, but I doubt I'd run into the perfect deal to make that switch. The C7 is a nice car just get a good color combo because I've seen a couple that just didn't do it for me.

Thankfully I haven't had enough problems to make me want to part with my '10 C6; however, once bitten, I'd never be able to live without a Corvette - so, if I ever part with my C6 you can be sure it would be for another Vette. Good luck with the Camaro!

My 05 has had few troubles, but understand when you get one that has issue after issue it takes the fun out of ownership.
Good luck with your new Camero!

Can't blame the car for your too steep driveway.

Sounds like your troubles with the defroster may have been the results of a less than competent dealer's mechanic.

I have never used my defroster, and have had no repair issues. Lucky I guess.

Enjoy your new car.
