riding down the highway going about 95 when I pass a (about 1995) Pontiac Grand Am. He decides to pass me back. (and he gives me a pissed look). (Wide open road by the way). I thought what the heck, push down the peddle. It takes me till 110 before the knucklehead figures out his car is probably going to explode and he backs off the gas. This is not the first time I have experienced this kind of jealous rage on the road. I will put that experience later in the thread if there is enough interest.

Grand Am's were limited to 110MPH unless modified.
When I was stationed at Lejeune, my buddy got a brand new 1987 Grand AM.
Of course, we had to see how fast it would go.
So running out to Moorehead City we opened both cars up, I was in a 77 280z.
He hit a brick wall at 110mph and I kept motoring on. He was pissed.
We beat on the Grand AM for about a year, then it was just falling a part. It was a POS by 15K abused miles.
He traded it for a Ford Ranger 4x4. That was better than a Grand AM.

So because he wanted to see what his car would do he's a "knucklehead" and had "jealous rage?" Are you serious? Does that mean you were an even bigger knuckhead and had more rage since you took the challenge?
I get having fun like that. I don't get the insults and name calling.
