Default C6 Split Window Coupe!

I think this 2008 C6, modified with a 1963 SWC body is absolutely awesome!!!

Just freakin' amazing!

Does anyone know who owns this car?
The name of the car show?
Where this car show was held?

Is there a link on these forums that I missed?

Any info at all would be appreciated.

Thanks...

I think it is a kit by Karl's kustoms. They are awesome!

Thanks!

I knew someone here would have some info!

I just sent them an e-mail asking if they did the work on this car, and requesting info on cost, etc.

Have to agree with you. The first time I saw one of these Karl Customs I thought it was the coolest and sweetest looking cars I have ever seen!

I'd love to know what you find out about the car (cost etc.). The 1963 split window coupe with C6 running gear is about as good as it gets. I'd love to see what the inside looks like and if it's as good as the outside it's just an awesome car. MAN what a sweet ride!

Yeah, I've seen them on a couple of the car shows on TV. They do a nice job. Pricing ain't cheap, but it's a cool car. I'll be curious to see how the resale value holds up over the long haul. Will buying one of these turn out to be a good investment, or a complete turkey???? I know, I know, we're not buying these for investment, we're buying them to have fun, LOL....

The first one I saw a few years back I was talking to the powner. I did not ask who did it, but it looked that same as these two. I was told that you send them your C6 and they do the conversion and they keep the C6 body panels. I did not ask the cost.

I am not really into conversions but that retro conversion is stunning. From what I have heard and that is not much...those conversions are NOT cheap...like Wow...you gotta really want this to pay that.

The Lingenfelter collection in Michigan has 2 different cars like that 1 is the 63 and 1 is a 58 I believe. If I had unlimited funds I would own one.
