Enough with the snakes!
Find these guys on the house and lanai screen at night…we call them 'bonzai frogs' because they will jump from roof of house onto the bushes (height of about 10') in a crazy full spread of the legs
Florida Tree Frog
Found this guy at our house…about 2 1/2' diameter….Florida Softshell Turtle. The 'shell' is soft and just like a pliable leather
And least we forget our ocean friends… my wife is a underwater photographer and in the waters at Jupiter we have many Lemon sharks>>

Burning Brakes
There a lot of these here at work .... the nests are watched over and protected, after they hatch they weighed and measured, then we can participate in the release into the ocean.

red circles are major nesting grounds; yellow circles are minor nesting beaches.

What great photos!
Love to see them.
We have tree frogs around here as well.
When you walk out of the house, and one jumps off the top door trim, and lands with a soft, moist, splat on your arm, it wakes you up fast!
Here's a shot you might like.
My wife and I were walking through a park and noticed an Orchid growing in a tree.

Yes, they do look a lot better. Excuse my ignorance, but what program do you use to do that with? I dont have any special photo software on my computer.

Worst thing we have to worry about here is the occasional mountain lion-- they are scary sounding at night when I'm sitting on the back porch sipping a beer or in the garage detailing. They are also quite rare. This is the 2nd one anyone can remember. One has moved into my neighbor's yard somewhere. Plenty of deer, fox, owls, snails, skunks, lizards, skinks, turtles, toads, frogs, and other miscellaneous wildlife--even the occasional coyote.
My water feature that I built.
A nice little photo I snapped with my phone at the lake house.
Sunset at the lake house.

I would then suggest Picasa
Here is a link for it>>>
http://download.cnet.com/Picasa/3000...-10160334.html
Its free, user friendly and basic which is all most folks need.

Your little pond and waterfalls are beautiful, but where's the Koi?
I think I see a Mimosa Tree at the lake house, love 'em!
I'd also recommend Picasa Randy.
Once you get used to playing with photo enhancing software, you might want to pick up Paint Shop Pro.
It's inexpensive, and will do everything you'd ever want and more.
Ok, my turn. Here's a huge Gator I probably got too close to, because it turned and was heading toward me when I snapped the shot.
Prompting me to get the hell outta there.

Nice tight shots, Mad_Guy.
Guess we're on flower snaps now...
Lots of these around here. Huge trees loaded with these flowers.
Still not certain what they are???

Going this afternoon to my local sporting goods shop and apply for the Wolf season lottery for this year. Was out at my land yesterday and saw a couple of rather large wolf tracks along the edge of one field. Had one about 1/2 mile away last year that a neighbor saw and tried to get a shot at without success. DNR is targeting a harvest of 250 this year, up 30 from last year. Beautiful creatures but they do decimate the deer population which is still struggling a bit around here.
