All the Corvettes that have aux ports....do you have nav? Maybe that's why?
I just have the 6 CD.
If you don't have NAV it's right here on the front of the unit next to the CD slot where the red cable is plugged in. Then just hit the CD/Aux button to hear it.
Kinivo Bluetooth is cheap and super easy to install and use.....you can even tuck the input wire where its almost unnoticeable.....instead of it hanging down in front of your dash... it pushes into the slot between the dash panels.....and plugged into the cig lighter.....well hidden.....works very well....and bonus hand free phone in addition to streaming...
Also check out Slacker....same concept as Pandora but a better matrix, and uses less power on your phone....I switch between both free versions and really dont ever have to listen to any commercials and also xm & regular radio to kill commercials plus just for convenience because unless you leave the app running all the time there us some startup time involved in loading up.....so, for a short hop I may not stream......
In all of my work vehicles we have hands free installed at a local audio shop. Hands free phone and streaming music. There is a button that must be installed but it can be put anywhere you like. It's on our dash below the radio. Only about $200. Just food for thought.
just hopped on board with the slacker radio station thru the internet. now i'll see if i can get it thru my cell. the more options you have, the better and easier it will be to get rid of sirius. more food for thought.
Do NOT use the thumbs up (like) button - EVER! If you do, you will find that your account learns what you likes, and starts to repeat the same songs over and over and over. I have had a Pandora account for years and never knew this. There is a way to remove the "likes" for each station, but once Pandora learns it does not have the ability to unlearn even after you remove the likes. Only way to to cancel the account and get a new one.
If is fine to use the dislike (thumbs down) button all you want to get rid of songs/artists that you don't like.
It takes quite a long time for this happen, but if you want variety, totally refrain from using thumbs up.
I have talked to Pandora support about this and they have no fix. There are lots of threads on this problem. It has gotten so bad that I am thinking of going back to XM because I lost all variety.

Instead of removing the "Like" why not just hit "Dislike" when the repeated song comes on?

I was so focused on looking in my console I didn't think to look at the actual radio!
I found it. Thanks.
I guess I don't really know anything about the car I've had for over 4 years...

Actually, they recently put out a "I'm tired of this track" feature, but it is difficult to get to since it is not on any of the aftermarket head unit interfaces - and only accessible under sub menus on the app and web site.

Well I'd LOVE to play it, but now I have the dreaded "NO FOB" message.
Could be that it's -4F right now, and my battery charger is unplugged....
Once I get it rollin, I'll let you know how some good ol' metal sounds.
