During my visit with Hammy last week, he told me about replacing the fluid for my clutch. I did the work yesterday, and it was easy. Thanks for the infor, Hammie. I found that the hood release latch was broken prior to me buying my car. I bought one from a fellow Corvette guy on the forum and replaced it today. Took a little time, but I got the job done. My neighbor keeps telling me that I wash the car more than I drive it. Loving being back as a Corvette owner.

I'm guessing about 5 times?
Also, owning a 'vette requires washing, detailing, and working on it 3.7 times more than you actually drive it.

Rocky, pay no attention to Hammy. Those GS guys have more stuff to wash and obsess over. Us base guys enjoy the drive more than the cleaning.
Oh man, I'm betting that just cost me a drink too.

Hammy, 4 times on the Dot 4. I know about the detailing versus the driving of the car. My wife wanted to go for a ride today, and I said no, there was a threat of rain. So, the Vette stayed in the garage today.

It won't last long...probably turn black again in a matter of days.
Check your owners manual for complete replacement, mine is at 30,000 miles, but I don't know about the '07.
I'm not certain, but I believe yours has the T56 tranny, so the clutch fluid requirements may be different from my TR6060 transmission.
There are others here who can either confirm, or correct, what I've said.

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
I change out my fluid with the Ranger method every month so it kind of cleans itself over a period time.......it is never very dark when I change it but I am easy on the clutch......don't hardly use the clutch on the Peterbilt unless its to stop or get going......
I think all the clutch fluid is the same for the C6's Hammy.....I use the GM OEM fluid which is Dot 4 but costs more......but that means its got to be better right?

Surgery went ok. Still lot's of tenderness and discomfort. Pain is better.
But it looks like it'll be at least another month until I can drive my GS.

Good news!
Do you keep your 'vette on a tender? Personally, I've never found the need for one.
I was unable to drive mine for a period of 2 months,....I think it was actually about 9 weeks.
When I hit the commence button,....BRRROOOOOM, it started instantly.
Have one on me...

Glad to hear you are doing better
I didn't but I am gone for more than 5 months sometimes and after reading about battery problems, I got one ... so far no issues so I see it as a win and peace of mind .. what little mind I have left

As much as helping prevent a dead battery it also keeps the battery "topped off" which reduces unnecessary charging. Just sayin...
