Could be as simple as a coil pack, spark plug etc, when my Truck had a coil pack go bad, the transmission also seemed like it was shuddering.
I always think of worst case scenario.
Spark plugs are good 93 octane was put in by dealer and myself, onstar ran diagnostic no issues autoparts ran code check negative. Absolute pristine still has new car smell and some of the orginal factory tags and stickers on it, Im sure service will say thats normal, for a vette or they wont know what it is. Been down this road before. Trying to get them to take it back or buy out the loan sell it . Ive driven foreign sports cars my whole life, this is why. If no changes are made abandoning corvette world will be painfull but unavoidable . I will update status when i know. Its going in tomorrow. Really appreciate all the knowledge guys. Hope yall are enjoying yours.

If this is the kind of attitude you have when speaking to your dealer about it........ good luck with that.
The last time I checked, every foreign car dealership had a service shop attached to it, full of cars like everyone else.

with all due respect OP. sounds like you regret the purchase of an automatic c6.
these cars at 90 feel and sound like they're idling. put an exhaust like a corsa on it. or retrofit an npp to the car and you'll have an entirely different feeling of it's performance.

That's funny. You've had similar experiences owning foreign cars, but somehow it's different with a Vette? Of course, you have no idea of the real performance, since you never went WOT or over 5000 RPM.
This is sounding more and more like buyer's remorse for financial reasons. The problem will get fixed and either you or someone else will enjoy the car. Just avoid being an a-hole at the dealer and it'll all work out.

I had a BMW M3 with a intermit starting issue. I told the service dept. it had symptoms of a bad starter. After the third time being at the shop, towed on the last time, they replaced the starter. I had way more issues with the BMW in 5 years than I have with my corvette in 7.5 years.

looking for tech support not judgement or assumptions
The only buyers remorse I have is buying a defective product, and or a product were parts fail prematurely like GM vehicles do. I work 60 hours a week and I have several lucrative hustles on the side, also Ive owned brand new cars more expensive than this one. Does that answer your question about my finances ?As for the foreign cars ive driven sure they gave me problems after 10 years and 150 k miles, so yea its a little differant than a Corvette in the shop after 48 hours of ownership. So lets stay on subject please.

My reply to your assumptions is available. Lets return to technical and engine/tranny problems speculation instead. Thanks for your reply

OP, did you ever try disconnecting the battery for 10-30 minutes and see if that helped? The cars are really weird when it comes to electrical stuff. Don't forget to index windows afterward.

Try disco the battery same deal. It feels like a v6 now w.t
F. No warning lights, no codes, no smells no leaks Spark plugs, connections, battery, coil packs are normal engaging all driving modes are fine. Traction control is fine fans are fine all connections are fine engine and car looks like it just came out of the box. the car does not have one scrath on it. I dont even think previous owner ever farted in it. Lol

So, sell it, or set fire to it, but stop your whining and arguing. You have a warranty...take it to the dealer and they will fix it. All kinds of people are trying to help you here, and you don't even let us know you have a warranty until well down the road. This story is full of holes...
Bad news about acceleration problems on 2008 c6 automatic
Well after dealer ran diagnotic and there being no warning lights on and a visual inspection test drive etc.Service manager says( um we cant find anything wrong with this car).Ha! Told ya ! I KNEW THEY WERE GONNA SAY THAT,As I stated in previous post. After a 100 doller charge with having a Full gmpp warranty to boot. And there supposed to be the best service dept around. So know im stuck with a p.o.s. corvette that looks and sounds like a vette but accelerates like a ford escort. So what do I do know ? Furthermore heres a quick referance on the type of power loss im experiencing: a 65+ year old man was in front of me with a 290 hp ,aprox( 3600-3700lb car) maxima .he flored it onto highway as i did and vette struggled to keep up with him . ( his motor was screaming by the way)Im doughting a senior citizen had a turbo on it as wheels, exaust ,body were all stock. Should a 430 Hp corvette struggle to keep up with a family sedan ? . Maybe its my imigination. So yea im extremely angry beyond description. Had a whopping 2 days in my dream car before becoming a p.o.s. nice work G.M. So what do I do know. Go from dealer to dealer spending a 100 bucks everytime ?
Obviously they are not the best around, did they drive the car? and why would you accept it back if the problem wasn't fixed ? something just doesn't sound right that they can't diagnose the problem.
I just re-read your opening post. I know you stated that it had high performance for the first 48 hours then it seemed to go into dog mode. Not quibbling with you on that but your description of how the car runs now is pretty much how my 2008 ran when I bought it with 15K miles. I wasn't happy how below 75% throttle the car did not run like I thought a 436 hp car should run. At WOT, it ran real strong. Tranny was laggy also.
I bought a Diablosport inTune handheld tuner from DiabLew with his custom tune. The car now drives and shifts the way that I like. Maybe a few hp gained, but the throttle response is outstanding. The tranny shifts quicker and firmer.
I know you're thinking, why should I have to buy something else to make the car run like it should have from the showroom? These cars have very conservative tunes from the factory. So if you want the car to run like it should, get a tune, either a handheld or from a local tuner. The advantage of the Diablosport inTune is that you can revert back to stock tune if your car is still in warranty and they can't tell that it had a tune on it. You won't be sorry that you did it.
Have you driven another stock C6 to see how it compares to yours?

Alright the first thing you need to figure out whether or not the car is bad. Some other people have suggested that it might be your perception. So do you have an independent shop near you that works on Corvettes? We'll start there and go on based on what you reply.
We can solve this thing. It just might take some time.
My 08' is like that. If I'm just driving normally, it feels less powerful than a camaro V6 that I drove a few weeks ago. It doesn't show its power until the pedal is near the floor, THEN it shows its 436 HP.
My assumption is that a 436 HP motor would normally only get 8 miles to the gallon. So corvettes are tuned to sip gas under moderate acceleration and to shift into the highest gear as quickly as possible. I'm guessing ?? The result is you get a 436 HP engine that can obtain near 28 MPG on highway and like 20 city. So it makes sense that the car feels like a V6 under normal driving conditions and a V8 under WOT conditions.
