I remember back many years ago we had a fairly new police unit it accelerated pretty briskly up to about 35 then that was it may have had less than 17k than this Vette had. Took it to the garage for service they didn't find anything wrong. When I picked it up same problem so I put the mechanic in the unit and showed him turns out the cat was bad it was changed out and then car ran great checking the cats is a lot cheaper than a7k hit on selling it

I have been watching this thread for the past few days now. Clearly this guy was a . I was poking holes in it from the very beginning. Probably some young kid with a little rice burner that wished he had a nice car. Dealership would never have sent him home if there was a clear problem. Just my 2 cents

The OP could make us believe this story if he would show us the service invoice from the dealer he said he bought it from, on the day he said he took it in for service, with the dealers diagnosis that it's all normal.

As I previously stated THIS POST/THREAD IS CLOSED, but couldnt help but respond to your ignorance.Im a 39 year old adult not some litte kid with some pathetic Ricer . Im on here this forum to educate myself on MY CORVETTEs problems yes I do own one, its a O8 C6 auto 3lt loaded edition with two tone seats. Obviosly I must have struck a nerve when I called out GMs obsurd quality control problems. And yes one more time GM of Winston N.Carolina said unless its broken down they are not gonna start looking around for problems. After insisting they diagnose problem Josh in the service dept said sorry cant help you. Im filling a complaint with GM corporate. So go poke holes in somebody elses miserable GM experience instead of mine. Your the troll talking shyt.

Sad part is the OP probably had a legitimate complaint and could have gotten some good advice if he didn't come across as such a biatch, insulting everyone from GM to senior citizens. Funny part is he thought he could "OFFICIALLY" end/delete this thread. Maybe he learned a little about how these forums work, a wealth of information and help if you just go about it the right way.

It's actually C6 related and not a rerun.

Exactly. I like the cooler heads prevail wording. Just because someone is an "adult" doesn't mean they make adult decisions. If this is in fact a true problem OP has lost all credibility by acting like someone that has buyers remorse or like they are a troll from a Ford Forum or a rice burner Forum. I work with a lot of dealership and I hear it over and over again. When someone acts like an idiot and raises all kinds of hell they usually try to push them away so they don't have to deal with them. My guess, if this is true, is he pushed the wrong buttons and they don't want to deal with him.

Has anybody suggested fuel, are you buying top tier fuel. You might have a bad tank of gas. I alway put in 93 octane top tier.

Back in 1992 my brand new Nissan Maxima had the same symptoms. It was discovered one of my fuel injector was bad. They replaced it and no more problem.

Down shifting is kind of harsh and jerking. What happened.?
Not to sound harsh, but it sounds like the driver needs to be modded.

And there supposed to be the best service dept around. So know im stuck with a p.o.s. corvette that looks and sounds like a vette but accelerates like a ford escort. So what do I do know ? Furthermore heres a quick referance on the type of power loss im experiencing: a 65+ year old man was in front of me with a 290 hp ,aprox( 3600-3700lb car) maxima .he flored it onto highway as i did and vette struggled to keep up with him . ( his motor was screaming by the way)Im doughting a senior citizen had a turbo on it as wheels, exaust ,body were all stock. Should a 430 Hp corvette struggle to keep up with a family sedan ? . Maybe its my imigination. So yea im extremely angry beyond description. Had a whopping 2 days in my dream car before becoming a p.o.s. nice work G.M. So what do I do know. Go from dealer to dealer spending a 100 bucks everytime ?

Damn, I read through the whole thread and figured someone would have had the answer. I have same exact car, but mine runs great, and I do a little 'spirited' driving every chance I get. I am very curious to see what the problem turns out to be.

Good luck with it OP. If I was you, I would DEFINITELY be calling Chuck CoW. He did a nice tune on my old C5 about 6 years ago, and he knows his way around Vettes........

I believe an attitude adjustment may be the problem not a tune.
