Avoidable Tragedy
Just saw a story on the 4pm news about a 76 year old man in south Texas who died when he became locked in his Corvette. The story said the battery died and he could not unlock the door. It looked like a C6 from the picture, but they showed an owners manual that looked like it said 1998 on it. It's very sad that something like this happens when all it would take to prevent it is a knowledge of your car and a pull on a lever. Apparently he tried to climb into the back and exit through the hatch, but was overcome. He also had two dogs with him that died as well. I don't have a clue as to why he did not break the side window as a last resort. Oops. Sorry, I did not see that there was already a post about this. Give me a break--I'm 73!
