Not really. I used RainX Latitude on my 2001 Mazda truck because they worked so well and lasted a good 4 years, even though it stayed outside year round. They really do work a lot better than the cheapies, and they are QUIET ... no scrubbing. I can't stand wipers that skip across the windshield.
