Best of both worlds! I am amazed at how well they integrate.

*Definitely* would buy if reasonably priced.

Nice, well done. Any issues with the internals wiring mounting?

Very nice indeed.

Seeing this confirms that the single most significant detail making the C6 look "outdated" by the 7, (by giving it a more aggressive overall look) is/are the headlights.

Finally!!! This is the conversion I've been waiting for, with the wide body fenders I've been wanting to upgrade to.

Loving what I'm seeing so far and looking forward to you finishing it up. Like others I too would be interested in this if you mold them.

Cheers bud!

I'm liking that look. I'd do it if I was sure I wasn't going to ever trade mine in. Looks nice and mean. I'd like to see a finished pic. Clean install.

That looks nice. Did you use the stock mounting holes?

I think you've done a good job, and I don't want to knock your hard work, but personally, I'm not a fan. I like my headlights as they are and I have zero desire to try to make my car look like something it isn't, namely a C7. I'm happy that I own a C6 and don't want it to try to pretend to be something else.

I follow the blue one on instagram "devils_vettes". His looks good, but I do like how you put your lights lower down on the bumper. Awesome job and can't wait to see it painted!

But, then, I have chrome wheels and that must make me an old man. I just don't understand the aftermarket body kits that turn your C6 into a C1 or the transplantation of later model lighting or the painting of perfectly beautiful chrome wheels with semi-gloss black. While it is occasionally an expression of great craftsmanship (with the exception of the black wheels), it sort of ruins a really beautiful design.

I don't get peoples reasoning on here, it's not trying to make it into a C7, it's a custom Corvette. Where people make there cars into whatever it is they want it to look like.
Just like mine is a custom widebody, I made mine into what I wanted it to look like.
Some people like stock, and some people like the OP and Myself don't

That's the surprising thing for me. I know all looks are subjective, but to my eye, the C7 headlights on the C6 look totally at home, especially the way the OP has placed them.

Now, if someone could just make a replacement C6 hatch that ditches the bubble rear window for a nice, C3 68-77 flying buttress look*, I would have no reason to buy a C7. The headlights and hatch are really the only visuals from the C7 that I really like over the C6.

(*let's not even talk about those stick-on plates that someone made for the C6's rear window. Not integrated at all...)
