Thanks guys. I'll probably drive it for a week or two and get it apart for molding then. In the mean time I'll have to get connected with a dealer or manufacturer that can make the plugs for my harnesses. I have no problem wiring them but I will make this as easy as possible for the kit. Literally took me 5 minutes with a fused + and - wire to see what wires were what on the C7 light. A test light for the C6 power output and BAM it was done except the ignition switched bright DRL which I love to be able to control!

How cool is this!?! First day out on the road with it and a friend I was going to meet happened to see me driving under a pedestrian bridge they were on and snapped a pic of it.
Carroll Shelby said to me one time....son....there is a difference between chicken poop and chicken salad....i like my race cars to be chicken salad...now that's chicken salad!!!....great job
I saw that innovative auto creations is making a full kit that will be a 100% oem direct fit while providing great detail to all their work that has months worth of work put into it...I've been following this thread of yours and have seen that you were able to do the job in a mere 8 hours! I'm highly experienced in custom jobs like this, but your post doesn't show any of the fine details that are crucial to even considering buying a mold/kit from you... Is this a quick 8 hack job or am I getting a quality kit that I can reverse if I wanted to sell the car.... I'm really interested...
That other 'kit', requires a new nose piece and their rear fenders to match the lines of the front fenders. Not all of us who are considering a C7 headlight mod want to fuss around with kit car panels, and just want to front fenders to go along with the head lights.
If I wanted a kit car, I'd get a cobra. I do not want to turn my purpose built Z06 into a kit car.
Stupid...is as stupid says...Boss these are C7 headlights....so anyone with a halfway reasonable amount of intelligence would figure out that C7 headlights are way different than C6 and that the point is this guy did a great job....so Forest go back to your vender and tell them you just lost future sales....because of your comment...this project is in the development stage...GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO DO THIS AND FIGURE IT OUT

So I'm a troll for asking questions about the kit...? I'm considering to modify a Corvette, why is no one else asking these questions..? I've read the post all the way through to conclude that he IS making a mold to sell, which I am interested in...thus, the reason for my "trolling"....with all these posts bashing on my question, now I may never get my original questions answered...
Because we see right through what your real motive is.
I am sure the OP will answer your questions for you.

LoL yea it sounds like a troll came in doesn't it. Don't worry guys when the molds are done I will be sure to post plenty of pics of the fine attention to detail and fit. If I sold junk I wouldn't be a Corvette Forum vendor for over 10 years with over ten thousand sales just to forum members.
I will not get into a bickering contest. I received a call from the other vendor last week after posting some pics and he sounded irritated. I was in the middle of installing a windshield on another car so I asked him to call me the next day. He did not. I want to let
Everyone know that I reached out to him 5 months ago when I saw his project in progress. I asked if he would like to work on this or if he'd like me to be a vendor for him since I had intended to do my own kit. I got very little interest and he never got back to me as he said he would. So I went ahead and did my own project. Yes I did the initial job in 8 hours. If you have seen the things Mike and I have accomplished in a day you would not question my work. Just because it takes someone a year to put together something I can do in a few days doesn't mean I'm going to bash them for being inefficient. I would appreciate the same courtesy from them but it's apparent "Lil Boss" has only 2 posts. We know who the lil guy is

I'll give a significant discount to anyone who can connect me with a GM supplier (or whoever makes them) for the C6 and C7 headlight harness plugs. I would like to make these plug and play. This will make the car 100% able to be returned back to C6 but I seriously doubt anyone would ever do that once they see how bad *** this looks on their car! Plus you can sell your factory headlights and bumper/fenders to pay for most of the conversion
Anyone who can help with the plugs just let me know. I have a potential lead to a harness builder already but I'm in no rush. The molding will probably be done next week. Doing daily driving to make sure everything is good - and it sure is
