Can anyone tell me if the headlight sensor could also produce a one time, brief flash in the headlights upon entering the garage and getting close to the back wall at night? I thought this could be due to the reflected light hitting the dash mounted sensor. Originally, I assumed it was a proximity warning but learned, upon research, that the C7 does not come equipped with this feature.
Are you asking if this is possible on a C7 or C6?
I don't see how it could on a C6, because of the normal time delay of ~20-30 seconds. On the C7, I would say maybe possible because the time delay is only a second or two, but highly unlikely even then.
eta: I see you own a '15, so this would be a great question to ask in C7 general.

Thanks. I had not turned my notifications for replies on so I missed your post till now. I will try and ask this in c7.
For the last several days my headlights would not go off after leaving home for 1/2 mile or more. Not normal.
So yesterday I wiped the sensor off just for the hell of it. I had cleaned the dash previously and maybe there was a light film of cleaner on it? Dunno, but today they came on normally.
So even if it doesn't look dirty, wipe it off anyway . . . ?
