Melting Slicks
I used to occasionally take my '69 427 coupe to a cars and coffee event at Santana Row in San Jose, CA. It was on the west side of San Jose, near to Los Gatos, Saratoga, etc. The turnout usually included scads of super cars, various flavors of Porsches, a bunch of Ferraris and some really rare classics. Very few muscle cars and my C3 Vette barely got noticed. I'm sure a mere C6 would have caused them to spill their lattes. Now that I'm in the Sacramento area I haven't attended any of the cars and coffee events up here, but I'm betting the density of Richie Rich cars will be a lot thinner. Maybe next season.
BTW, why is it the millennial generation has to have their vodka flavored with all that crap? Dill pickle flavored vodka? I see the juice flavored vodka all the time in the stores and wonder why they just don't sell it in those boxes with the plastic straw attached. I love the tequila commercial where the two millennials are sitting with their Pink Ladies or whatever the hell those are in the Martini glasses with a cherry (no, they're not Manhattins), and the guy at the bar, Ray Liota, raises a glass of tequila on the rocks to them. They send their fufu drinks back. Geez, if you can't drink some descent vodka rocks, tequila rocks, single malt scotch rocks or a very dry Martini, why the hell spend the money on called drinks and just stick to the flavored beer?

Your car looks great and I like all the changes you've made. I like the black wheels on your car they go with the color and top nicely. See you soon.

Where in Mt. Pleasant? My son lives there (up near the Awendaw end of Mt. Pleasant) and my little grandson is a car nut at age 4! They'd have a great time checking out the cars and trucks there.
