I requested one a couple of weeks ago, so far, nothing.
Guys it is really easy to install ... just unplug your harness from the Gass pedal and plug it into the controler , plug the controller into the now vacant gas pedal connector . Follow directions to calibrate , mount control unit and tidy up the wires ... 30 mins tops ...
I believe there is a write up with pictures floating around.
LOL. This is so simple I did not understand the making a video comment. IMO a video would be overkill on instructions. Locate gas pedal, 13mm ratchet and socket with a small extension. Take out 13mm bolts unplug the OEM plug that is attached to gas pedal. Insert Vitesse into male/female OEM plug put gas pedal back where ya found it. Then calibrate.

I got totally burned out with working on cars (or anything else) many years ago. Just five years ago I had to get more than half my body under the dash on my boat and it was torture. There was nobody else around, and every time I needed a tool I didn't think of ahead of time I had to crawl out backwards, go down the ladder to the ground and get the tool.
The Vette will be easier than that (I shouldn't need a ladder ) although I'm older now too. I will do it, but I know I'll have to get in and out a half dozen times at least, and that will be worst part. I want to be as prepared as I can be. The actual installation doesn't bother me at all.
It just isn't fun anymore like it used to be, although from what I've read about this gadget, the effort seems worth it. The stock throttle lag is a bit disappointing.

I did get out of the floorboard a couple of times. It is not fun. Small flathead screwdriver sure helps getting the plug undone. The hardest part is exactly what you described of getting in and out. The rest is gravy train. Oh and I had a LED light which really helped.
Received mine the other day, will do the install over the next couple of days, can't wait to try it out.
I see some of you are mounting the controller in the ashtray which is really slick but where are some other mounting options that don't require removal of the console?

I have an LED that goes around my head with an elastic band. Greatest invention since intermittent wipers! The other problem I have when in tight spots is getting my head cocked right so I can see through my bifocals.
I will get through it, but the air will be blue by the time I'm done.
I've been "working" on an old GF (who is actually young); maybe she'll be hanging around to hand me tools when I put this thing on in the spring.

Thanks!
I mounted mine under the start button offset a little to the right. Ran the wire directly up the trim panel from under the dash.

If she looks anything like the picture, you'll be sucking your gut in and bouncing around like a teenager.
I have the same issues that you do ... it's called AGE. If I had one of these gadgets I'd have to take it to my Corvette shop and have him put it in. Or I could use the guy who put my speakers in and did my sound-deadening ... he's the most meticulous car person I've ever seen.
I read all the posted instructions. I removed the three plastic pins that hold in the black access pannel below the steering column and prepared to remove the 13mm bolts to access the harness above the gas pedal. Once I climbed under the dash with the socket, I realized I did not need the socket. The grey pin on top of the harness to release it popped right out, and the harness disconnected very easy. (With my luck this is usually NOT the case). I spent so much time preparing and then realized it was much easier than even I expected. A couple weeks after installation I got real brave (for me) and relocated it into the ashtray. Now its perfect and know one knows it's there....except all of you!! If I can do it you can.

Has anyone Thrown any Codes after installing this. ??
My friend installed his on his stock automatic 2012 Grand Sport and it threw all codes. So he took it out. He said the car didn't like it. Hmmmmmm
