It took me less then a half hour because I was nervous doing it the first time. Trying not to spill and making sure nothing drips. Now it will take 5 minutes next time!

I just traded my base '09 M6 for a '10 GS M6. One of the things I new to inspect was the clutch reservoir. The car has about 18K miles on it and when I removed the cap it was not only black but just about empty.

When I got it home I performed the ranger method. I emptied and refilled 4 or 5 times. The fluid appears clean now so I'll just drive it and replace what's in the reservoir every once in a while.

BTW, the '09 (bought used with 6K miles) was the same way when I got it although the level wasn't as low.
